Issue with licenses on ariscloud & java-app

Hello,

we have an active ariscloud and some issues with the licenses.

We have one architect and some designers. In the user manager these are correctly assigned. But only the architect can access the java applet "ARIS Architect/Designer" (from the client downloads). The designers get the message "no valid license to access this tool".

Designing inside the web-client is a pain if you know the nice java-client. Do I misunderstand the license, or can this be a bug or some issue during assignment?

I don't want to install the PC-client as it will be used on multiple places inside the company and this will be an additional process to align this with IT department.

Unable to Upgrade ARIS Cloud Trial version to ARIS Cloud Advanced version

We need to upgrade our ARIS Cloud Basic trail version license (expired on 18 Apr 2018) to ARIS Cloud Advanced version. But we are unable to do so online, as we don't see the option to upgrade when we tried through the payment portal Avangate. The Order Reference number is 69264257 and the registered email id is: durairaj8539@gmail.com.

Requesting your help on an urgent basis.

Voice Prompted modelling in ARIS

Good Day

 

What is the future and how far are we from being able to walk the floor of an operations, and execute Voice Prompted Modeling in ARIS Cloud?

 

Where I work we have successfully implemented BILC, with huge benefit on Turn Arounds of deliverables by shortening the time in some instances from weeks to day and even hours, ie

* from an Idea to determine whether an Idea is Viable agreed by all National Managers, SAP Architect and CI Analysts from about two weeks is now being done under 50 hours.

Secondly the Feasibility that follows which includes revised business processes and requirements, which normally took anything from minimum 4 weeks to 3 months is now down to minimum 1 week and maximum 3 weeks.

Voice prompted modeling is something we would like to focus on.

Is this on the cards somewhere?

 

Where can I get in touch with ARIS Developers as there is a Huge Need to also become more Business Support Focus and drive real benefits in business without any IT developments?

Hello,

Does anyone have the Code for reading Soundmetric ARIS data into Python.

I work with acoustic images and I would like to use the format Aris directly in my code.

I have a lot of files and it is painful to export them each time in mp4 format

I'm using Python 3.6 and OpenCV 3

Is there a way to limit the number of connections of a certain type to an object.

Let's take for example that you want only one Person being responsible for an Application System Type. How can this be limited?

I'm happy to announce that ARIS Cloud 10 Service Release (SR) 4 is now available in the public cloud. You can use the new features of ARIS Cloud Advanced immediately after your next log in.

ARIS Cloud 10 SR 4 provides the following new features:

  • The steps view now allows navigating via process interfaces between different processes (Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) model types)
  • The overview, table and RACI tabs support a freezing of the first row for easy scrolling
  • Optimized view generation for drawn connections in swimlane and column-based models
  • Layout enhancements and further general enhancements in view generation
  • New print scale preview
  • New interactive semantic checks in ARIS Connect Designer
  • Matrix models for maintenance of arbitrary connections between arbitrary objects with just one click

How to assign an already existing subprocess to a created process

Error creating a second database in ARIS Cloud Advanced

Hi All,

I´m having issues creating a second database. I´m selecting my preferred database type and it is stating that it is running afterwards. But after approximately 10 minutes it is flagged red and nothing happens and I can´t activate it or use it.

Change View - Organization chart

I suggest to extend the possibility to set the "objects views" also in the organization chart model as the same way it is in the cpe. I mean the function button "change visualization" at the bottom on the right of the CpE diagram. I think that it should be useful to use the organization chart only selecting the objects you're really interested at (for instance, "organization units" and no "person",...). Do you think this could be possible with the new releases?
