Is there anyone that has recently tried to "sell" ARIS Platform into their company? We are using ARIS Advance currently, I am trying to build a benefit case for upgrading to ARIS Cloud Enterprise from ARIS Advance.
Can anyone provide a document or powerpoint that briefly explains the benefits of Enterprise vs Advance? Also from Enterprise Perspective point of view.

We are trying to synchronize documents from ARIS 9.8 SR7 to Solution Manager 7.2
We have created custom document types in Solution Manager and maintained all the attributes in ARIS for the documents. While synchronizing in logs it's just showing "creating documentation xx " and in Solution Manager, an entry gets created named " Document URL / Document". The name of the document is not coming and it's not editable in Solution Manager. But in ARIS the SAP id and the sync attributes are updated showing that the document got synchronized. How to get the document name instead of this " document /document URL " in the entry. Do I need to change any settings? Can I get some help in this?

Since yesterday morning we are not able to login to Aris Cloud. I know there is a period of maintenance at this moment, but according to the information users should have limited impact.
However we can login to our admin tool, so our accounts do work. But the admin tool does not give us options to manage and create processes.
Anybody who has similar issues?
Anybody know the solution?

I'm trialing ARIS cloud at the moment using their free 1 month trial. So far so good in regards to what I need it for but I'm a little stuck now when it comes to restricting access.
1. Is it possible to lock folder(s) so it cannot be modified by users (other than admin)? If possible, how?
2. How granular is the access to folder? Is it possible to give writing access to a particular folder only to 1 particular user? If possible, how?
I feel like it's achievable and should be quite straight forward but I'm not quite sure how.

How can I generate a process manual output in Dutch. My database language is English and my models are maintained in English and Dutch.
Whatever I do my output is always in English. Logging on in dutch, switching the model language to dutch, doing a combination of the before.
Changing the language of the report to dutch, no difference... Made a copy of the report and changed the language to dutch and it won't stick and reverts back to english!

In ARIS Connect portal view, we have discovered that viewers cannot select connectors. Is this common or can this be configured ?
We want that visibility as we have stored attributes for connections between different objects. Any feedback is appreciated.

ARIS Cloud Advanced 10 provides some user interface improvements to increase end-user acceptance by a more appealing look and improved ease of use.
In the following example screenshot you see the new user interface with some description on what has been improved. The screenshot shows the overview tab of a BPMN model in the Portal of a Designer user.
These improvements are also available in ARIS Cloud Enterprise 10 and ARIS Connect 10.
The printing functionality has been enhanced to make it easier to print the model on a piece of paper. There is a new print icon in the symbol bar to open a dialog for exporting the model graphic in a PDF format.
In the printing dialog users can select the output options for the PDF export which they can use as digital file or send to a printer.
This new capability is also available in ARIS Cloud Enterprise 10 and ARIS Connect 10.
Additionally to favorites on search queries, which exist since version 9.6 SR 6, there is a new capability to create starred items for published content like processes. These starred items can be saved and found in the Favorites tab in the Home view.
This new capability is also available in ARIS Cloud Enterprise 10 and ARIS Connect 10.
Can spreadsheets be visible in portal view in Connect or is this only an Architect feature?

I will test the BPMN2.0 models in the test version, unfortunately the model isn't within the BASIC.
ARIS contact person ask me to change the edition with customizing button or get support here.
I already tried to change the edition, but without success.

The use of the steps view is to reduce the complexity of the business processes and make them easy to understand for non-expert users.
The new version provides two main improvements. It is now easier to navigate between the steps view and the diagram view. There has been added a small icon to the current step, which helps you to jump directly to this process step in the diagram view. And if you navigate back from the diagram view to the steps view, you also come to the same step that you just left in the diagram view.
The second improvement is the integration of operator-related information into the steps view. Operators like AND, OR and XOR that are used in modeling notations have been translated to easy information like “exactly one path is relevant” and have been embedded between the steps. This additional information helps end-users to better understand the process sequence.
The steps view enhancements are also available in ARIS Cloud Enterprise 10 and ARIS Connect 10.
Users can now define the frequency for email notifications themselves. To do so, go to the Collaboration and click the number on the top left above your name. Then click Change your notification settings in the Notifications pop-up window. In the Notifications settings you see a list with all notification categories and you can now define by category if you want to receive your notifications never, instantly or by daily, weekly or monthly digest.
Furthermore, administrators can now configure email templates in the Collaboration. The look and feel of emails can be customized to make them more appealing for users. The notification settings like time, weekday and default frequency can also be configured by the administrator.
These new capabilities are also available in ARIS Cloud Enterprise 10 and ARIS Connect 10.
