I cannot login into ARIS Cloud
Dear all,
I've been trying to login into ARIS Cloud for a couple of hours with no success at all.
Firstly we got a problem in ARIS Cloud certificate (please refer to the image).
Now this problem this is solved but none of hour user credentials are accepted - not even for the "forgotten password".
Accordingly to Murphy's Law - I have a meeting with the company's CIO and team in a few minutes and I was not able to update and publish the models as I was supposed to do.
Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Models are getting locked for edition with no reason
I have been (b)locked by myself several times today ...
I start editing a model sometimes after saving and closing, when revisiting it continues locked (by my user), even after restarting Aris.
Is it possible to verify what's going on? Thanks.

SCOR (Supply Chain Reference Model) in ARIS
Has anyone created or know of an implementation of the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model in ARIS? IDS Scheer announced an EasySCOR product for ARIS back in 2005. It no longer appears to be offered.

I would like to add a screenshot to a process workflow, specifically the 'Screen' symbol or as a attribute in the Properties section. Can I do this? If not, is there another way to incorporate the screenshot to the process activity?

Installation Problem
Dear all,
I've been trying to install ARIS Cloud (Educational version) in my computer but the message "IDS_BADSIGN_ABORT" always appears to me.
Here you have some of my PC specifications, in case of need:
- Windows 10 - 64 bits / Intel i7 - 2.40 GHz / 8GB RAM
Does anybody know how could I fix my problem?

I can not access the UMC
Good day to all,
Install ARIS 9.8 on a Linux RedHat ES 6.6 (64bit) with Oracle 12.2, I followed all the steps in the installation manual, but once finished I can not enter the UMC. I'm trying to access http://20.1.64.107:80/umc as follows (link is external). What it does is that is thinking a while and then gives me an error saying that the server is busy, or is off or has trouble answering requests ..
How could verify the port you are using the UMC to be accessed? the only thing I can think is that I'm trying to get down the wrong port.

Reporting from the Process Board
The Process Board is not linked to using the Change Management Proposals in the Client. We'd like to start using the Process Board to track changes to existing process, but need to understand whether there any reports available to allow extraction of the Information in the PB to Excel?

Connect ARIS Architect & Designer with ARIS Cloud
Hello,
I am using ARIS Cloud with a user account on a 'Designer' license. I've downloaded the client software package (consisting of 'ARIS Architect & Designer 9.8', 'ARIS Server Administrator 9.8' and 'ARIS Symbol Editor 9.8').
I can connect the Server Administrator to my ARIS Cloud by specifying the hostname (eu.ariscloud.com), username/password, the tenant and checking 'Use SSL'.
However, when I try to do the same with Architect & Designer, I get the following message:
"User *** has no license for using 'ARIS Designer or ARIS Architect'. Make sure that a suitable ARIS Connect or ARIS Design Server license is available on the server."
I really want to be able to edit models through the client software, but it is unclear to me how I can achieve this. I seem to have a Designer license when I look at the User Management in ARIS Cloud, but I can not seem to connect through the client.
Is this the correct way to design my models through the client?

Definition copies of entire models
Hi,
I want to know how to create definition copies of entire models within the same database of ARIS Cloud Advanced so the copy is independent of its original. I created the as-is process models, and since the to-be models are only different in certain parts, I want to make a definition copy of all these models in the same database, and then modify them in the required places. Please let me know how to accomplish this.
If this is not possible, what is the workaround?

Import from Visual Paradigm
Hi,
trying to import process maps from visual paradigm.
Aris can import *.xml files, but I always have this error
"You need an extended license to import this file type."
How can I make it work?

I seem to have lost all the information in my diagrams and some complete diagrams
I am using ARIS Cloud (Trial) and since Monday the 14th all the information inside each object in my diagrams has disappeared. Some more input on my problem:
1. The groups information has also been lost, so now I have no classification in my database
2. Some complete diagrams have simply disappeared. I had Enterprise Collaboration BPMN diagrams and Customer Journey diagrams
3. I created all these diagrams with an expert database, since I had all the diagram types available, but now I can only create 4 basic diagrams
Question 1: Could this have to do with the maintenance warning posted in Aris Cloud ("... we plan some maintenance operations for the ARIS Cloud from the 12th of November until the 19th of November...")?
Fact: I did create a new database which I deleted afterwards and it looks like the initial database changed to a basic mode
Question 2: Being in a trial period, can I do some Export of my database so I don't loose the information? We are considering the update from 9.7 to 9.8 or even ARIS Connect and I would like to keep the diagrams I created in ARIS Cloud, but I don't have an option to Export.

How to bulk import requirements into Function Allocation Diagram
Hi,
I have an already created EPC model containing numerous functions that I would like to add Business Requirements/Business Rules too. My search has highlighted the need to use Function Allocation Diagrams.
In order to avoid dragging a dropping nearly 100 requirements onto the WYSIWIG Model, is it possible to view a matrix of the same and perform a cut and paste, or better yet an import?

How use ARISCloud for business requirements / rules defining and tracking
Hi,
I have an already created EPC models containing numerous events/functions that I would like to add Business Requirements/Business Rules too. I can use Function Allocation Diagrams or Requirements diagrams (which is not very convenient or useful)
Hence I need to have a list of requirements (from 1 to 20) for each function. And will need the following fields:
1. Requirement ID
2. Requirement Name
3. Requirement Function
4. Requirement Priority (Mus have/Should have/Could have/Will not do)
5. Status
And be able to track it, create a special report.
Of course, I can use excel for it, but I would like to have everything in one place and connect business requirements to each function. If we could have a business requirements table view - it would be perfect.
Do you know how to implement in in ARISCloud?

Generating Process Metrics on Reports
We are using ARIS Cloud Advanced and we would like to be able to have process metrics appear in the "Create Process Manual" report. Each process has various KPIs including task durations (min, max, average). Overall processes also are associated with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that define process duration "standards". We are not sure how best to provide relationships to these metrics such that the information appears in the process manuals (i.e., the standard "Create Process Manual" report). Any Function-to-KPI relationships we created do not seem to appear in the reports. We are interested to know what solutions others have used or developed for reporting these relationships.
Note that we considered modifying the "Create Process Manual" report script but it is quite complex and we are relatively new to ARIS.
We also understand that there are other ARIS applications that may use such metrics attributes (e.g., ARIS Simulation), so we do not want to create any work-arounds that might interfere with these functions if we add these applications later.
Any practical advice would be greatly appreciated.
